Antioxidants

Antioxidants are substances or nutrients in our foods which can prevent or slow the oxidative damage to our body. When our body cells use oxygen, they produce by-products which can cause damage. Antioxidants prevent and repair damage.


Antooxidants helps you to keep your body disease free.

One can eat a minimum of three portions of vegetables and at least two portions of fruit every day, including at least one citrus fruit.

Fresh fruits juices along with the pulp are excellent. Infact fresh fruit juices and vegetable soups are an excellent way to increase your intake of antioxidant. As a certain percentage is lost in cooking and juicing, this should be in addition to the recommendations above and not as an alternative.

Reduce coffee and cola.

Have atleast 5 vegetarian meal each week. Use sesame or peanut oil for flavour (only the smallest amount is needed), adding cashews or crushed peanuts, fresh herbs and a squeeze of fresh lime juice.
